Iris Mountain Biking

Yesterday afternoon Iris and I went mountain biking in the Arastradero Preserve in Palo Alto. We had a great time. We saw a baby rattle snake (we think). Here is a picture of Iris cruising down the single track. At the end of the ride I asked her if she would do it again and she said "Totally!"

Whale Watching in Half Moon Bay

This past Saturday we were swimming at the State Park beach in Half Moon Bay and were treated to a show put on by a group of whales. At least two whales were playing just beyond the breaking waves. The hung around for a good 30-40 minutes. One person I talked to said she's live in HMB her entire life and has never seen whales so close. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen... I tried taking pictures but the sun was so bright that all you could see was glare.
